I am still receiving the message that I cannot sync without Internet. I commented on this back in November 2023. Distill occurs randomly and has not been addressed by the software developers. I am using an iPhone SE third generation running 17.1.4 and Fitbit version, 4.14. I do not have Wi-Fi in my home and I have never had Wi-Fi in my home. Most of the time this has not been a problem with the Fitbit iOS app, but randomly the message shows up stating that I cannot sync without Wi-Fi. it is annoying to have to get out of Fitbit, close the app and then reopen in order to refresh the home screen values. I am a blind user and I have dictated this on my iPhone and I hope that you will be able to understand my ramblings.

I have updated to Fitbit version 4.21 and continue to receive the message that I cannot sync without Internet. I understand some of the user issues have been addressed. However, this problem continues to fester.

The fact that this happens to me after restarting my phone seems to confirm my hunch. The app doesn't seem to get the message that the internet connection was restored. Or, it does get the message and simply doesn't clear the on-screen notification. One would think this would be easy to fix.

I have found that the sink now button on the home screen has become a problem. After updating to Fitbit version 4.22 I found that the can sync without Internet message was appearing more frequently. I then found that every time I tapped on the sink now button located on the app home screen the message of can’t sync without Internet appeared and I had to dismiss it to get back to the home screen. The only way I can force a sink now is by clicking on the device/app button in the upper left-hand corner, then clicking on my device and then scrolling down to the sink now button. this requires considerably more steps than tapping on the sink now button on the home screen to achieve the same results prior to updating to version 4.22. I have dictated this on my iPhone and hope that you will be able to understand my ramblings I tried contacting Fitbit customer care, but because of an issue with their new verification policy, I was unable to speak to a supervisor and pass on this information. I went to disability support for assistance, and they took the information and will do what they can to motivate Fitbit software developers to address this problem.
