Can we get this in the iOS Section for the notification issue?

There appears to be a banner in other portions of the forum(see the screenshot) and I think we should get one of them in the iOS section.

There have been a lot of posts in the iOS app section about notification issues and it seems like it's creating a lot of clutter in the forum.  While the notification issue is a huge issue, it's not really something that is going to get addressed in the forum. In that sense it's kind of overshadowing other issues that users are experiencing with their Fitbits or the app.

If the pink banner isn't an option maybe the moderators can start merging all the threads referencing notification issues into one.

I understand you believe that the notifications issue should be merged into one thread to avoid cluttering the forum and providing clarity. It is indeed already merged on the iOS Forum. I’m inserting a screenshot so you can see it. Look to the threads heightened with a teal color as it’s background.

What i'm suggesting is that pink banner to maybe instruct or reference that teal colored thread in your picture.

There are still a lot of users that are creating new threads regarding the notification issue as opposed to adding to the current that you have highlighted.

The pink banner you’re referring to is posted when you sign in, regardless of what forum your in. It’s posted continuously while you’re signed into the community unless you tap the “X” button to remove it. That pink banner has addressed the notifications issue multiple times. Today it’s addressing something different. Tomorrow it will again be the notifications issue again I’m sure.

@SunsetRunner  I think this might be one of those things where we agree to disagree lol.

The pink banner is only available on the fitbit.com dashboard section of the forum. The message only pertains to downloading data which you can do from the website dashboard which makes sense that its only available in that section of the forum.

Although it is possible we might be talking about two different things as the fitbit.com dashboard is not the same as the main screen for the community forums. Please see the link below.   As you navigate down the site you will see the platform section where the fitbit.com Dashboard is listed first.  That is the where the pink banner is.

I would think that the website would be capable of having a pink banner in 2 different sections,  much like how each forum has its own set of teal threads. I didn't know it was only capable of one at a time. It was merely a suggestion to hopefully make things easier and a little more organized.

Thats interesting. I logged out of my account then logged back in and that exact banner shows on the main page from my view. I tapped the “X” and the same banner appeared when I entered the Dashboard forum. So I guess we are seeing the same thing with different views. 😉
Either way there is a main thread for notifications issues. Some individuals are not aware and don’t see it then post a new thread. Some individuals know the other thread exist but choose to not post there but ask for a status of the issue in a new post and some go directly to the existing post to post.
