Food was not logging so I killed the app, deleted the app, hard reset on phone. Still will not let me login or reset password. Says "Failed to send" Something went wrong.

This affects me to, but with an iPhone 7. My steps counts today would not sync, so I was attempting to log out, quit the app, power cycle the phone & then get back in... but not allowed to log back in now.

Hmm... Resolved, I guess. Just kept banging away at it, and now I'm back in and my steps just synced. Among the things I tried: Another off/on of the phone, bluetooth off/on, forgetting my Wi-Fi network and rejoining. It was immediately after re-joining Wi-Fi that l was able to log into the app.

Hi @SusanCleary and @nedmaren. Welcome! It's great to see you here in the forums.
@SusanCleary, thanks for bringing this to my attention as well for the steps that you've tried prior posting. I'm sorry that you're having this experience and let me help you with this matter. Along with the steps tried by our friend, try turning off WiFi and use mobile data instead to see how it goes. Make sure your iPhone and the Fitbit app are updated to the latest version.
If you get the same error message, take a screenshot and attach it in your reply so I can further investigate. For instructions to attach a file, check this post.
@nedmaren, thanks for joining this thread and sharing the steps that worked for you. I'm glad that you got access to your Fitbit account!
Hope to see you around.
