Cannot set up multiple Fitbit devices in the same account

Hey, so I bought a charge 4 (for working out) and a versa 2 (for wearing to work) thinking I’d be able to link both to a single Fitbit account, but turns out you can’t. Does anybody else have 2 watches? How do you keep all the data together without switching endlessly between accounts?

You can have more than fitbit connected but there are restrictions. The main one being:

"Note that you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time."

So, unfortunately, it rules out having 2 connected if they are at all recent models.

I have multiple fitbits and don't think there is a way round this restriction. I did try a couple of times to switch but it's such a pain that I soon gave up and now stick to just one.

I have had a Blaze, Flex & Versa all connected for years. Switching between for varied activities as you planned. Bought a Sense this week and set it up this morning. It kicked out the Versa I was wearing but kept the Blaze and the Flex. Bad system imo.

I have been asking FitBit support about this for awhile. I have been hoping there were plans to allow users to switch between devices (I like to wear a smaller device to work, and a versa for workouts). It doesn’t look like they will allow it. I actually returned a new device because I didn’t know this. So, unfortunately they’ll lose me as a customer this year. Garmin will allow multiple devices on their app.
