Cannot update Fitbit app on iPhone, or delete

Hi. My Fitbit app is showing that it's updating, but it has been like this since last night. I can't seem to delete and reinstall either. Not sure what to do. If I delete will it delete all my info? Very frustrating as am supposed to be doing a challenge this weekend! Can anyone help?

Hello my friend @Mumski48, it's nice to see you around Smiley Very Happy! I'm sorry to hear about this inconvenience that you had. 

 

I'd recommend taking a look at the How do I update my tracker? to see step by step on how to do this. If you have issues, there you'll find the solution. 

 

In regards to your question, if you delete the app it won't delete your information.

I was also having this issue and had tried all the other tricks online to no avail. I finally went to my iPhone Settings>General>Reset, and selected Reset All Settings. That cleared off the "Installing" app. Then I was able to reinstall the app without losing my data.
