Changing start date for weight loss

I see several messages saying to go to the “nutrition and weight” tab in the app to change the start date for weight tracking. I don’t see that tab currently in the app. Does anyone know how I can change the start date? Thanks in advance.

Hey, just sharing from personal use.

It looks like the "Nutrition and Weight" tab isn't available in the newer version of the Fitbit app. Unfortunately, as of now, there’s no way to manually change the start date for weight tracking in the updated app.

Your best bet is to delete older weight entries if you want to reset your progress view. To do that:

  • Open the Fitbit app
  • Tap on the Today tab
  • Tap your profile picture > Health & Fitness Stats > Weight
  • Tap the entry you want to remove and delete it

Not ideal I know, hopefully Fitbit brings more flexibility back in a future update.

Hi @Kidscientist.   If you migrated to a Google account, please tap on your profile picture, then Fitbit settings.  The Nutrition & Weight tile is in the PREFERENCES section.

Tap on your Nutrition & Weight tile.  When you change the Start Date, you must change the Starting Weight to that day's weight, too.  You can't just change the date.

I have v 4.48 of the Fitbit app.  I just made these changes on my Fitbit app and this path works.
