I updated my weight loss goal in the Fitbit app and it no longer shows how much weight I've lost so far.
It seems to have taken today as my 'start' day which is frustrating. Does anyone know of a way to change it back to my original start day? I've tried changing it by going into "Account", I scroll down to "Nutrition & Body" and change the starting weight back to what it was, and I change the start date back to when I originally started. There seems to be no place to save any of these changes. I'm sure I'm missing a step somewhere. HELP!

Hello @Loribedori, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Please note that when you edit your weight goal, the app will automatically change the starting date to the current date, which will make your progress revert to 0. Don't worry though, simply change the starting date to your original starting date by going to Account > Nutrition & Body > Weight:
After changing the Start Date, go back to the Dashboard and check that the start date shows correctly under the Weight tile. If not, go back to Account > Nutrition & Body > Weight and edit your Starting weight by deleting the one you have and if necessary typing the same one. You will see the goal changed and your progress was kept.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hi. For some reason this doesn’t work for me. Is there any way you can update the app to NOT automatically change the goal’s start date?

I tried this and it wont work. I have the Charge 3, I can edit the goal weight, but when I go to input the start date, it will not go to that date. I need it to say 10/4/19 and it will only go to 7/4/20 (today is 7/12/20). I'm afraid I just lost all my progress and I was near 50lbs down 😞

Hi, thanks for trying but doesn’t work the date just won’t let me select the original start date, it keeps spinning round to today or other random dates.
