[Charge 2] Fitbit Connect for Mac refuses to sync via bluetooth

Just got a Charge 2 and have been trying to sync it with my Macbook, but all the Connect app will say is to "Turn on Bluetooth to sync your trackers" even though bluetooth is on and clearly working as I have other devices connected. The Charge 2 doesn't come with a dongle and there's no way I'm buying one when the app should easily work with the Macbook. I already set it up with my phone but the lack of connectivity with the Connect app is extremely annoying. I've tried restarting the tracker and that didn't work either. Any thoughts?

Hello @Vinzafy, thanks for joining us. It's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

Is your Macbook a recent model? Fitbit trackers use Bluetooth 4.0 which is common on phones but not on laptops, if your Macbook does not support Bluetooth 4.0, that might be the reason Fitbit Connect is constantly displaying that message.

Indeed, the Charge 2 does not come with a wireless dongle and if you're having trouble connecting to your Macbook, my best recommendation would be contacting our Support Team. Let them know about this situation, I'm sure they will be more than happy to get you back on track.

Let me know the outcome, I'll be happy to help if you need anything else! Smiley Wink
