Charge 2 can't change timezone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 2 is showing the time for Sydney Australia, instead of Brisbane Australia (so the time showing on my tracker is 1 hour ahead). I have tried the suggestions of changing it in account settings, but it switches back to Sydney within a few seconds. I have set it to change automatically and it sets to Sydney. I have manually reset the tracker, loged out of app, turned off phone etc - still says Sydney. Have checked my phone settings - it is set to Brisbane time. Please help it's driving me nuts!!!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @jennadele. It's great to have you here. The engineering team is aware of this issue and it's working on a fix to get it solved as soon as possible. Once any update is available it might be disclosed in this thread.

In the meantime, there is a workaround that has helped other users experiencing the same problem.

  1. From the Fitbit app, tap Account > Advanced Settings > Country
  2. change the Country settings to “United States” and change the timezone to the desired timezone (in this case Brisbane Australia).
  3. Then force sync by following @WendyB's instructions.
  4. Change your Country setting back to Australia.
  5. Finally force sync once again.

From the online Dashboard > Settings > Personal InfoSelect Submit after making the changes and force sync

I moved this thread to the iOS app board because it's more related to the topic. Let me know how it goes. Keep up the super stepping. Smiley Happy
