Charge 2 disconnecting from iPad several times.

For the fifth time today my Charge 2 has unpaired from my iPad. I have deleted the charge 2 and set it up again 4 times. The Bluetooth is turned off on my iPhone before anyone suggests that as a solution.

Hello @Wollythewol, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for sharing your experience with us! Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know what you have tried so far. Tell me, is this issue happened before with any of your mobile devices? When you mentioned unpaired, did the Charge 2 disappeared from your account or it was not showing under the Bluetooth devices? At this moment I would like to ask you to restart your Charge 2 and your iPad. If you still experience this issue in the next few days, please let me know so I can check this further.

Thanks for all your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello

My Charge 2 appears in my Bluetooth but says it isn’t connected.
When I go into the app and my Charge 2 it says it’s connected. My heartbeat doesn’t appear on the dashboard. When I try to turn all day syncing and notifications on it tells me it’s not paired would I like to pair, I say yes and after a while it says it can’t and would I like to try again, which I do and it won’t.

It paired perfectly with both my new iPhone and new iPad from the moment I got them in May. Then on 25 June I couldn’t sync with my iPad at all. It synced overnight, but had become unpaired. I tried lots of things including turning off the Bluetooth on my phone and it paired, but then mysteriously became unpaired again.

I have successfully paired twice more, but it always comes unpaired.

I continue to have the Bluetooth on my iPhone turned off. The Charge 2 became unpaired from that too.

I have done as you suggested this morning. Three goes at pairing and at removing the charge 2 and setting it up. It won’t pair.

Regards

Hello @Wollythewol, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply with more details about your issue. Smiley Happy

I understand you have removed and paired your Charge 2 several times with your iPad. At this moment I would like to ask you to pair it one more time, without removing it from the account first. Please follow these steps in order and let me know how it goes:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
  5. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted!
