Charge 2 not auto-detecting exercise, iPhone 7

I noticed today my Charge 2 is not auto-detecting exercise. I am exercising beyond the minimum 15-minute time and it is set to auto-detect.

 

After looking at my history I noticed it stopped tracking the same week I bought an iPhone 7. What do I need to do so it auto-detects again?
