My Charge 2 and my iPhone X were working and syncing fine until 2days ago. My Bluetooth is on but the phone isn’t seeing my Fitbit. I have uninstalled the app to see if that would work but to no avail.

Hello @ColeenBB, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far. Please note that your Charge 2 does not connect through the Bluetooth settings on your phone but through the Fitbit app and will only show up in the list of Bluetooth devices if you have already set up Notifications or All-day Sync. Now, as you have already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app I would like to suggest the following:
- Restart your Charge 2
- Restart you phone
- Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal
- Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around
- Open the app and try to sync your tracker.
In case your tracker is still not syncing correctly, my best recommendation would be setting up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between your Charge 2 and your phone. Don't worry, none of the information already stored in your account will be deleted.
To set up your tracker as a new device:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
- Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
- When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
- When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello,
I have tried the above fixes numerous times and the sync will work for a day then I have to do the whole new setup process again. I’ve done this three days in a row now. Please help.

Hello @Maita, I hope you're doing well, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for reporting this to us. I would also like to thank you for having already tried the troubleshooting steps provided on this thread. At this moment, if you're still having trouble syncing your device, before trying to set it up as a new device, please try the following steps in order:
- Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
- The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
- Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
- Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.
If your device still won't sync, try these steps:
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
- Open the Fitbit app.
- If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone
- Open the Fitbit app.
- If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it.
- If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
- If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

This was really bothering me. I tried all the steps. Turn this off. Restart that. Nothing worked. Until I remembered that I had recently installed the Fitbit app on my iPod as well. Ahhh, step #4! Turned that off and the app synced on my phone immediately.
