My fitbit charge 2 vibrates on notifcations but no text message appears. I have to press the button to see what the notifcation is, whether the reminder to move or a calendar notification or incoming phone call. There are no notifications (whether vibration or text) when I receive whatsapp notifications

Hi
@acyc88 -- the CH2 can display call, text, and calendar events. It does not display other types of push notifications ... no whatsapp.
As far as getting reminder to move notifications to display, make sure that feature is "on" in settings in the fitbit app. For call/text/calendar events, make sure those options are checked in the fitbit app. For some more troubleshooting ideas, check out this article.
Hope those ideas help. Let us know what works to help out others. Cheers.

@acyc88 -
I'm sure the device doesn't immediately display the text message because it doesn't "know" you are looking. You need to let it know you are prepared to read it. That's because the notification is a "one and gone" type of notification.
It works the same way on my Alta HR. I get a wrist vibration, but can't look at it "right now" because I am speaking to someone and it would be rude. Once free from the discussion a minute or two later, I rotate my wrist up or double tap it and there it is. I didn't miss it. For one, I thank Fitbit for understanding what happens in the real world.
