Charge 2 sleep stages

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have fitbit app version 2.38.1 on iOS, but I don't see any in app notifications in fitbit notifications tab.

Note: I see other notifications, but not any thing about sleep stages(nothing about, reasons why there are no sleep stages)

Is there any known issue about this?

Hello @kpkpradeep, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.

Earlier this month, we fully released in-app error notifications that provide an explanation for why you aren't receiving Sleep Stages on any given night. This is meant to provide insight into what might be occurring to cause this. The error messages are the following:

  1. We need more than 3 hours of sleep to reliably calculate your sleep stages. Learn more
  2. Your tracker couldn't get a consistent heart rate reading while you slept. Learn more
  3. We couldn’t generate sleep stages for this sleep. Please try again tomorrow. Learn more

Now that you have updated the app to the latest version (2.38.1), please check the sleep tile to see if these messages appear there, if not, let me know so I can check this further.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello @MarcoGFitbit,

I have tried the recommendations for last 2 days. But no sleep stages.
The notifications are still the same incorrect message: "Your tracker
couldn't get a consistent heart rate reading while you slept".
Message is incorrect because, heart rate tab shows consistent heart rate
with out any gaps during my sleep time.

So, looks like Fitbit is yet to perfect their software and/or tracker.

Concur........fitbit.....you need to fix this bug as it is directly tied to your last release......everything was  fine on my charge 2 - and then there was that release.

Hello @kpkpradeep, I hope you're doing well, I appreciate you've taken the time to reply. It's nice to have you on board too @MajCSmiley Happy

If you haven't done it yet, please restart your tracker 3 times in a row. If you're still not able to see sleep stages, please try to sleep with the tracker on your other hand and monitor it for one more night.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
