I went on a run yesterday and my charge 2 showed the total distance as 5.46 miles. When I charted the course on a map my run website the website showed the actual distance as 4.72.
Why the discrepancy?
And yes I ran with the phone on me and the GPS tracker on.
Can someone shed some light on this?
I was really pumped up yesterday when I saw that I ran 5+ miles but now my balloon seems to have burst 😞
Thanks

Hello @agonsalves, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Please keep in mind that all GPS devices, whether your phone or your tracker connected to your phone, require a direct path to these satellites in order to receive their radio transmissions. If the signal is being blocked—either because you're underground, near many tall buildings, or as a result of atmospheric effects—GPS will not work. In this case I would like to suggest you to check the following:
After checking these requirements, please try to perform a GPS exercise once again. Please remember that if you start an exercise through MobileRun and your tracker at the same time the data might not be accurate as both will be rewriting each other.
If you're still having difficulties, please let me know if you're seeing the alert in the app or in your tracker and reply to me with either a picture of your tracker displaying the message or a screenshot of the app displaying the message.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply as well.
