Charge 2 will not set up on iPhone SE

My Charge 2 will not set up on the app on my iPhone se. I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggested via live chat and just keep getting sent new pebbles that so the same thing. Is there anyone who can help please?

Hi @secrosby87, It's nice to see you around.

 

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for taking the time to work with our support team. This isn't what we expect from the Charge 2 and I do apologize for the experience that you've had with them. I've contacted our Support Team and apparently they're currently working with you on this situation. Be sure that you're on good hands.

 

For anyone else that has this situation, I'd recommend the following steps:

 

  1. Remove device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth from your phone and any other mobile device nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot phone.
  4. Restart your Fitbit device.
  5. Turn back on Bluetooth only in the phone you'll use to setup.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and proceed with the setup process.
