Charge 3 APP on iphone stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Yesterday i noticed my iphone fitbit app was no longer logging my heart rate and not fully completing a sync. It would still log steps i took but nothing else. I also noticed that for the two previous days that the heart rate was not logged at all. So i repeatedly tried to sync without success. I uninstalled the APP and reinstalled it and now i cant even log in, keeps telling me something went wrong. Now if i use my android tablet i can see everything, syncs ok and on my mac the same. its just my iphone that has a problem. its virtually a brand new phone, it connects to my charge3 even now so no problem there. It was just the APP that seems to have an issue. any ideas??

Hi @Dazedsparky  iOS had an update of the app yesterday. You'll want version 3.6.1 and it should take care of things for you.

I had not updated my iPhone at that point, was still using the previous iOS when all this happened and Fitbit app version is 3.6.1.
The app still won’t let me log in.......I log in using my email and password and the message is “oops, something went wrong”.

I have an iPhone8 and the Fitbit app has been working fine for the last month up until a few days ago.
When running the Fitbit app if I skip log in and try to set up a new device I get an error message saying “something went wrong, try again later”

@Dazedsparky Welcome to the Fitbit Community.

I regret to hear about the difficulties you experienced when trying to log in to the Fitbit app. Thank you for the information you shared with us and for trying to resolve the issue before contacting us.

Please reboot your iPhone and try once again to uninstall / reinstall the Fitbit app

If possible, I would recommend trying an alternative network.

If you continue experiencing the same problem, please be so kind to attach a screen shot of the error message.

@Odyssey13 Thanks for your support.
