Hi - my Charge 3 keeps losing connectivity with my iPhone. It did this with my previous phone and I have changed it within the last month. It initially paired and worked for a while and then loses connection again. I have switched the phone off, reinstalled the app, re-synced the phone and turned bluetooth on and off so many times that I am now getting very frustrated. My original Charge 3 had the same problem and Currys replaced it and it seemed to solve the problem for a while. Bluetooth will show that it is connected and then I come out of settings and a couple of minutes later, it shows as no longer connected. Please help as I am considering returning this one too.

@Archiedott since your asking about an iOS device, I've moved your post out of the Android Board. It seemed to be a better place for your post.
On Android I have had to remove the Fitbit app and load a fresh copy.

Hello @Archiedott, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @Rich_Laue, thanks for moving the post and keeping our boards organized.
@Archiedott, I appreciate you have brought this to our attention and for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. Please note that if you haven't set up Notifications on your Charge 3, your tracker will only appear as a device connected when you open the app and sync it. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to go to the Fitbit app and enable All day sync by going to Account > Charge 3 > All day Sync. This will establish a Bluetooth connection between the Charge 3 and your phone. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.
Note that it has been tested and confirmed that All-day Sync will not drain the battery on your phone or your device faster than usual.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

Thanks for your reply Marco. Notifications seemed to work when first set up but then they have been intermittent ever since. When I try to activate all day sync, I just get the constant spinning wheel and then notification that bluetooth pairing has failed (but the wheel is still spinning!). It worked for a few hours after re-setting the fitbit itself but then lost connection over night.
Any more help would be greatly appreciated because I am now at the end of my tether!!

Hello @Archiedott, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.
I appreciate you have come back and provided more details about this situation and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment, before you try to activate All-day Sync, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. After that, go to the Fitbit app and try to enable All-day Sync again.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

Hello @Sageb, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply with the information requested.
Thanks for coming back and let us know the issue you're experiencing is related to Sleep. Please note that the Fitbit app currently has in-app error notifications that provide an explanation for why you aren't receiving Sleep Stages on any given night. This is meant to provide insight into what might be occurring to cause this. The error messages are the following:
When you tap on Learn more, you will be able to get more information about why your tracker didn't record sleep stages. Additionally, I'd like to suggest the following:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Similar to problems above - first 4 months Charger3 worked well with iPhone 7 app, and online app on desktop. Suddenly about 3 weeks ago, stopped tracking mid-day. Did every one of the troubleshooting steps above including removing Charger, reinstall app, turn Bluetooth off/on, Bluetooth off, app off, restart phone. Then after several tries, reconnected to Charger3, then tracking/syncing OK until a day or two later, and same problem. Now I expect to have to reconnect every day! Sometimes sync works after one attempt, sometimes three or four times. I have apps automatically update on my iPhone, so that is not the main issue.

@Suewa78 when you say stopped tracking, are you saying that the Charge 3 stopped counting your steps? Or do you mean that the Charger 3 will not send your step data to the Fitbit server?

My charge 3 was disconnecting during sleep. I went to Bluetooth on my phone and selected Forget this Device. I went back to All-day Sync and saw it was still on. I turned it off then back on.I got perfect results from last nights sleep data. The GPS started giving accurate maps/data and didn't disconnect during activity which is what it had been doing. The Charge 3 is still unpaired in the smart phone Bluetooth yet it works like a charm.

March 2020, and Fitbit has not yet solved the connection issue.
i alreay have an Apple Watch and only use the Fitbit for sleep tracking.
this level of connectivity challenge is unacceptable.
not a product I’d ever recommend

iPhone 8
iOS v 13.4.1
Fitbit 3.22 (962)
Charge 3 vs 20001.63.5
This happens regularly. it stops syncing then I have to delete the charge 3 from the Fitbit app, go to my Bluetooth menu and remove it, then reset it up like a new device. I lose all my data when i do this. I did it a week ago it it stopped syncing again. Last synced yesterday at 5:37 PM and it wouldn't sync this morning. For the record, I restarted the Charge 3 and my iPhone this morning but it still will not sync. This is super frustrating.

Today, the Charge 3 connected and synced at around 6:50 AM this morning, the last time it synced was 2 days ago at around 6 PM, I have made zero changes.

I too have this exact problem! Been through everything, turning off, restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling. And when I set the charge 3 up as new it takes more than several attempts to get the 4 digit code to come up! It doesn’t keep the correct time either.
(I know it’s not the Bluetooth on the phone as it connects to my car and headphones with no problems)
iPhone 8. version 13.5.1.
