Charge 3 not communicating with iPad Pro after iOS 12.3.1 update, 31/5/19. Error 403

Hi,

I’m hoping someone can help me!

I’ve not been able to sync my charge 3 with my iPad since Friday. As my iPad had just so happened to update iOS overnight, I wasn’t sure if the issue was with my iPad or Fitbit app.

I looked up possible scenarios that should work, but nothing has.

I’ve done everything on the list of instructions posted by people on this community. All I’ve achieved is removing my Charge 3 from my iPad altogether, by removing device and trying to start asif new tracker. This is when I started getting the error 403.

Before coming back to Fitbit for help, I’ve just spent an hour on the phone with support by my iPad advisor(can’t put names), who went through EVERYTHING...short of factory reset. The support ran diagnostics on my iPad, guided me through all the steps I’d already tried again, plus many more in depth tests.

Conclusion: it’s not my iPad or a problem with its Bluetooth. I can connect other devices to my iPad using Bluetooth easily, yet it won’t even ‘discover’ that my Charge 3 is next to it, fully charged, plugged in, rebooted, on/off, removed from iPad....

I am all out of options it seems, apart from getting a replacement product.

I’veread that some people with this issue have resolved the problem by following the advised instructions, but this isn’t working for me...

Any help greatly appreciated!

Since posting this message, I have contacted the Fitbit and have been informed that the Fitbit team are aware of this issue but cannot say when/if they will be able to find a solution to this problem!

I am very disappointed by this as it seems the device is pointless if it cannot be used alongside the Fitbit app.

I’m hoping I can get a replacement device or refund...
