I have same problem with my iPhone. Fitbit was replaced and new one worked with text for a short while now it says it can’t pair the replacement either. Steps etc ok.
Waste of money. Call/text notification was my main reason for getting one! Will not be buying another.
Moderator Edit: Clarified Subject.
Best AnswerHello @Caroleyjones. I have moved your iOS question out of an Android thread, you might want to press the 3 dots to the right of your post and edit the title.
Have you checked the phones notification center for Fitbit authorization. As an Android user, this is the one step many iOS users have said they missed.
Have you checked the links to the help docs yet?

Hello @Caroleyjones thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @Rich_Laue, thanks for all your help.
@Caroleyjones I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Additionally to the steps provided by @Rich_Laue, I would like to suggest you to go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Messages and make sure than under "Sounds" you have selected any option other than "None"
Give this a try and let us know how it goes. Have a great day.
I never thought about that @MarcoGFitbit but yes if I select none or turn the volume off, the phone goes in its DND mode.

Best AnswerYou say it keeps trying, but never explained what step is being tried.
You say that notifications are enabled on the Charge 2? Do you have the notification menu item enabled. Or checked by holding in the button.
