Charge 3 not syncing with Fitbit app.

The app cant find my fitbit charge 3, Already tried restarting app, restarting phone. Now I let my phone forget the device and read that storting “new” device was a suggestion, But then the app still canot find the device. I only got it for 1 day.

All was fine when I first got my fit bit 3 now no notifications  or text alerts or sleep data.i get steps . Now won’t pair on my iPhone tried all the information given . Tried rebooting. Give up now, expensive buy just to get  a step counter.

Try again in about an hour. Should sync with all info.

Your Iphone has an app if you just want a step counter. Please chat with
them so they can see all the problems. maybe they can do a recall.

Thank you Lbologna3  after weeks of my fit bit not giving me text or calls and just steps. I thought I would take it back to John Lewis for a refund. Today for whatever reason everything is working. How I just don’t know.

I tell many people to try again later. Always it will work and all of your past data is in tact. Have you checked if all your data is there? Seems as though the problem is that the Fitbit, device sometimes has a hard time displaying info. Someone at fitbit screwed up on developing this C3.

I do not agree that, 'always it will work and always data will be in tact'.
I had to wipe all my data and reset to factory settings and that data
between syncs was completely lost, a month's worth. I now sync very
frequently, it will no longer sync to my android only to my ipad now.

Hi KIsercat I think you are correct, each time I contact customer services they say they are working on the problem . Mine worked ok for the first couple of weeks except for sleep tracking. Suddenly only the steps worked for more than weeks. Today all is working .amazingly without any help from me.

Hey Slumber. I had the courage just now to re-PAIR it. This time I left ALL DAY SYNC on when pairing. So far so good.

I have always left ALL DAY SYNC on, it didn't matter.

I had ALL DAY SYNC off since CHARGE 1 as a way of preventing battery drain. I’ll see how long before needing to recharge

I have done all the things it says to do when charge 3 won’t sync but still not working, hasn’t synced for 2 days now, can anyone help?? Thanks

Go to Fitbit.com and do a chat with one of their techs. They will go
through all the steps to try to resolve it for you.

Go to SETTINGS then ABOUT then REBOOT DEVICE. If after a few days of doing
all the normal things it doesn't sync, it probably won't and the techs
aren't always able to help. (I tried for a month before finally doing this
last shot before returning and it reset everything, has basically worked
since-fingers crossed)

Thank you all for your help. Yesterday for some unknown reason I was able to get notifications. Today text went off and calls. Looking back I went to forget this device in phone settings, put it back on again and now all is well. But for how long isanones guess. Fingers crossed. Thank you all again . 

 

Andrea Fitbit. Went to setting to forget this device, turned it on again and all was good. Today no text or phone  had to repeat forget device again. Hope this is not a regular occurrence.

Re-pair you device by forgetting device in Bluetooth, then adding new device in your fitbit app. All should work well. I have an iPhone 8+. I did this yesterday and for the first time paired with ALL DAY SYNC active. Now I get messages via vibration to Fitbit. Also it’s cool in the app seeing my heart actually beating and in color to!
