I have a Charge 4. It's syncing to my iPhone phone - steps etc. are coming through fine. However, I'm not getting any call or text notifications - have tried the other tips suggested (restarting phone, making sure app is updated, have turned bluetooth on and off, have done 'forget this device' and then paired in the Fitbit app, have checked notifications are on, have checked DND is off). Anyone else fixed this issue? Help!!!

My notifications went away with Charge 2 a while ago. I was hoping switching to Charge 4 would fix it but still not getting them. I went through all the steps here https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1979/?q=notifications&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1#iOS... and didn't make any difference?

Strangely enough, I am getting call notifications but not texts. And yes, I have the toggle set to say I want texts. I've also tried all of the other trouble shooting options I've read. 😞

I have tried deleting and re-installing the Fitbit app, I have done forget this device and re-paired, I have checked that notifications are on. I don't get any notifications of any kind on the Fitbit. I am pretty much ready to return this brand new Charge 4.

settings (on your phone) turn the bluetooth off and then back on. Then go
to notifications on your phone
here are the steps:
*Updates*
Make sure the Fitbit app
, your
phone , and your Fitbit device
are up-to-date.
*Share system notifications*
1. Tap *Settings* > *Bluetooth* > [image: information icon] next to the
name of your Fitbit device.
2. Turn *Share System notifications* *OFF [image: User-added image]* and
then back *ON [image: User-added image]*.
If you don’t see the Share system notifications option:
- Restart your Fitbit device
.
- Tap *Allow* when you receive a message on your phone asking if you
want your Fitbit device to show notifications.
- Tap [image: information icon] next to the name of your Fitbit device
and turn on *Share System Notifications*.
*Show previews*
Tap *Settings* > *Notifications*. Make sure *Show Previews* is set to
*Always* or *When Unlocked*.

*App notification settings*
For each app that sends notifications, tap *Settings* > *Notifications* >
the name of the app and verify these settings:
- *Allow Notifications*—On
- *Alerts* > *Notification Center*—On
- *Show* *Previews*—*Always* or *When Unlocked*

Main problem with this um solution is what happens when it stops working again?

I experienced the same thing with my charge 4. Finally, after going round and round same as you and sent screen shots to customer service showing I had pushed the right buttons ... received an update from fitbit and once I installed it I started receiving notifications and calls. Make sure your fitbit app is current.

I tried all of that but it didn't work. If you go to settings on the actual fitbit, then go down to about, and reboot the fitbit it should fix it, it did for me.
