Charge 4 won't sync to my phone

I got a charge 4 for Christmas but when I synced it to my phone it says charge 3. Is that normal?

Hi @Charles1984 and welcome to the forum. To answer your question, no, that is not right. It looks like something went wrong in the setup. Please sync your Charge 4 then do the following: 

 

Remove the Charge 3:

  • From the Fitbit app on your iPhone tap Account -> Charge 3 -> Remove this charge 3
  • From the settings on your iPhone open Settings -> Bluetooth. If the Charge 3 or charge 4 are listed, tap Forget This Device.

Then add the Charge 4:

  • From the Fitbit app on your iPhone tap Account -> Set Up a Device. Please make sure you select Charge 4 then follow the prompts.

This should do it! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

So I did that. I did it 3 times just to make sure. I even reset my Fitbit just to see if that was the problem. I keep clicking charge 4 but when it syncs it keeps saying charge 3

Sorry it did not word, @Charles1984 . Thanks for trying it. At this point, you should probably try to contact Fitbit Support. But you may want to wait until after the holiday week end.
