Charge 5 missed a few days syncing and won’t update

My Fitbit app (and dashboard) is showing zero steps for my Charge 5  for 31st March and 1st April and only 12 steps for 2nd April. Yesterday (3rd April) and today’s steps synced okay but the data is still missing from the three days before,

 

I’ve been on the customer service chat and have been told that there is nothing that can be done as it resets at midnight every night so there is no way to retrieve the information but the manual says that the Charge 5 holds steps data for seven days so how come it won’t sync those three missing days?

I’ve turned Bluetooth off and on again, restarted the Charge 5, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, removed the Charge 5 from the app and reinstalled it and still no joy.

 

I’m sure something similar happened with a previous Fitbit and I managed to get the information back on the app but I have no idea how,

 

Does anyone know if there is anyway I can get the steps info back?

We released a Fitbit app update recently. It should be available for everyone right now. 

 

Please update the Fitbit app and let us know if the situation still occurs.
