I understand where you're coming from about your Charge 5 not syncing correctly, and thanks for your efforts while working on this matter. Because your post didn't mention, may I know if you've tried the steps described in this help article? If you have, I'd recommend these other steps:
- Forget your Charge 5 from the Bluetooth settings.
- Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
- Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
- Restart your tracker to refresh its performance.
- Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
- Select your Charge 5, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Ok, I have the same issues and have done everything suggested. I have removed and reinstalled at least 50 times. What is Fitbits permanent solution to resolve this ongoing problem? Not happy!
