Charge 6 - Issues while setting a new weight goal

I’m on an iPhone with a charge 6. I wanted to change my weight goal but I’m not able to. It let me remove my old goal and now there’s no weight goal and I can’t set a new one. I have searched the help topics and none of them have helped. My app says “something went wrong unable to set goals”. Please help, thank you.

There's an issue on the Fitbit side that affects our ability to set goals. The team is aware of the issue and has been working on fixing the problem. So far, we haven't seen a timeline for the fix.

Have you had a chance to try logging out, uninstalling, re-installing, and logging back into the Fitbit app?

Hi,

I am getting this same message and would like to try logging out, uninstalling, re-installing, and logging back into the Fitbit app, but I can't find any information on how to do any of those things: how do I log out? how do I uninstall? how do I re-install? how do I log back in?

I just uninstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled it. I didn't sign out. It worked ok.

I have an iPhone. I literally just press and hold the app then choose
"Delete App"

Then go to the App store and download it again.

You will need to login and then you can add your goal

When I go to delete app, it says it will lose all data.  I’ve got data starting from 2016 and don’t want to lose it all.  So how do I delete and reinstall without losing it?  So I can add a new weight goal and sleep times?

I’m in exactly the same position as you…

i only bought a replacement Fitbit so I could keep all my historical data. I don’t want to lose it now but I would like to set new goals.

So frustrating 😕

Your Fitbit data is stored on the website. I can’t see how it can be lost?
I uninstalled and reinstalled my Fitbit app more than once and haven’t
lost any data

I did not lose any data when I did this. Just make sure you sync your Fitbit before deleting app.
