Hello, yesterday I ran a 10k and the realtime pace was off (saying I was running faster than I was). I was connected to GPS. Chip time had my average pace about 45 seconds slower than what Charge 2 showed in summary. Mile splits do not add up to actual total time. I have the latest firmware update and use an iPhone 7. Any suggestions on correction? Would like it to be accurate for next race so I can adjust my running to be on pace.

This seems like a very odd situation, when you're connecting your Charge 2 with the GPS, are you getting any kind of error message? Have you checked your Charge 2 during the exercise to check if the GPS signal is still connected? Are you surrounded by many trees or buildings when exercising?
Additionally, please check @EmersonFitbit's post about connected GPS, some of the issues affecting it and how to resolve them. I'll be waiting for your reply!
Best AnswerThank you for your reply. It didn't come up with an error. It was calculating my pace and average pace, albeit incorrectly. When I viewed my mile times afterwards, they didn't even total my overall time that Fitbit showed. I was running through a downtown area. I'm going to check my stride length and see if that is the issue. I will check the post about gps and see if that helps too. Thank you
Best AnswerI've been having this problem since I updated my phone from a 6s to a 7+. Customer service keeps telling me that its a known problem that they hope to have fixed soon. But it looks like its been happening to other people for months so I'm not optimistic.
Best AnswerI have the same problem with The gps in the app. the charge 2 and other tracker (including gps or no gps) track the number of step within a small margin of difference, the other gps shows a proper split time and average pace, for me walking . But the fitbit
app show a pace increasing faster by 20 to 30% (I am walking but have a pace of a runner)
Example walking 12 -13 steps for 10 meters for all devices where as Fitbit app takes me only 7 to 8 steps
would love to know why
