Charge HR 2 not syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The only way I can get my Charge HR 2 to sync to my iPhone 6 is to delete the app, reload it, and log in again which is a bit of a pain. It is also not correctly reading my heart rate. Sometimes it won't read it at all or else it'll say my heart rate is 75, but when I manually count it, it's 135. It used to work fine. I've reset my Charge, but the issue still persists. It's only 7 months old. Any suggestions?

Hello @FitJenBit. thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

If your Charge 2 is not syncing correctly, please try to set it up as a new device in your account to reset the connection between your phone and your tracker. Don't worry, this won't delete any of the information already stored in your account.

  1. Restart your tracker once again, only this time leave it plugged in and charging.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  4. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  5. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

Now, in regards of your heart rate, please remember that your tracker should usually rest a finger’s width below your wrist bone and lay flat, just as you would wear a watch. Additionally, experiment with wearing the tracker higher on your wrist during exercise and try not to wear it too tight as this will affect the reading and it might not be as accurate.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink
