Charge HR won't transfer

Hi,

I've been trying all day to transfer a fitbit Charge HR from my husband to my son. It was working perfectly. I tried a hard reset and followed all of the steps to get it to erase completely. However, I still can't get the app to recognize the device during setup. I've tried both the mobile iphone app using bluetooth and the iMac fitbit connect app with the wireless dongle to get it to recognize it. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to get it to connect. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Community @ldriskSmiley Happy If you want to set it up your husband's Charge HR to your son's account, there was no need to reset the tracker to delete his previous data, it is just necessary to set it up the Charge HR to the new account and automatically the data will be removed from the tracker's memory. Now, in order to pair the Fitbit let me suggest you to try the following. First of all, if you are gonna use an iPhone, please make sure it is a compatible device. Then, perform a restart, and finally follow the steps on @AlejandraFitbit post to set it up your Fitbit. If you are using an iPhone, you can try to reboot the Bluetooth on your phone and then attempt to set it up your tracker again.

Let me know if that works! Robot LOL
