Charge doesn't sync

My charge will not save my steps unless I open the app. My previous Fitbit updated on its on. This one I have to open and lay my arm near it. This is very annoying! Is there anything I can do?

Hi @ScottsBeautiful

I'd recommend making sure that you are using version 2.21 of the Fitbit iOS App. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store. Next, I would recommend:

1. Restarting your Charge.
2. Opening your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.
3. If your tracker still isn't syncing, I'd then recommend force quitting and reopening the App to initiate a sync.

Keep me posted if this helps and welcome to the Community!

  1. Turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
  2. If your tracker didn't sync, force quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
  3. If your tracker didn't sync, reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
  4. If your tracker didn't sync, restart your tracker.
  5. If your tracker didn't sync, try syncing with your computer.
