Cheers in challenges are disappearing.

Is anyone having problems in the challenges I cheer for people and and the cheers disappear?  Not sure how to fix this

Hello @Walkergirl052, I hope you're having a great day, it's nice to see you around. 

Are you sending the cheers through the Fitbit app? When you send a cheer through the app or the online Dashboard, you will only be able to see a pop-up or little animation that will indicate you the cheer was sent but these are only visible for the person receiving the Cheer, it will not appear on your end.

@Darciea. are the disappearing cheers sent to you or are they cheers sent by you?  When you cheer someone, the cheer only display a temporary message telling that it was sent to someone but it doesn't appear as a message in the app or the online Dashboard. 

@Walkergirl052, would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot where previous cheers sent were visible? This will help me investigate this matter further.

This has happened to me and some friends too, over the last three weeks or so. There is a problems with cheers disappearing from challenge/goal day logs, the cheers that are visible to anyone who participates. Sometimes the cheer only stays up for a minute.

They are cheers I do on the app. I know I don't get a notification for
cheers I make.

On the challenges I 'cheer' a participant and my picture shows up under the
achievement that I cheered but then as soon as I leave and then go back on
app my cheer disappears. It sometimes may stay for 1 person but usually
they all disappear.

@Darciea @Salmonberry @Walkergirl052 Out of curiosity, what type of iOS device are you using (ie iPhone 6, iPad Air, etc)?

Also, what iOS version is your mobile device running (ie iOS 10.2, iOS 8, etc)?

Lastly, I'd recommend verifying that you are using the latest version of the Fitbit iOS App, version 2.32.1. Click here to update if you haven't already.

The same thing has been happening to me and my Fitbit friends for the past 2-3 weeks.  We can press the CHEER word to encourage our friends than as soon as you get out of the app and return ALL or PART of the CHEERS are UNPRESSED again. Also sometimes you can press a new CHEER and others will UNCHEER right in front of you as your pressing others. We've all tried logging out and back into the app, checking updates and we are current, rebooting our phones and resetting our fitbits. It still isn't fixing the problem.

I've been having the same issues on the challenges the past couple of weeks where my cheers are disappearing (not always but most of the time)??? Using iPhone 6 Plus ios 10.2.1. I have a Fitbit Charge 2 Version 2.32.1

I've also been having this problem of disappearing "cheers" using an iPhone SE and iPad Air 2 with the latest versions of the Fitbit app for a few weeks now. Sometimes when I swap from one challenge to another and back again the cheers I made have gone from the other challenge. It seems random, they don't always go and it seems like they disappear more often if I do a number of cheers in quick succession.

I had wondered if it was a syncing issue as I use the Fitbit app on two devices although only my iPhone is connected to my Charge 2.

Same thing is happening with me. I cheer and my picture fills in and then is gone next time I go into the app. Looks like I never cheered.

My cheers are still not staying after pressing on my friends and family challenge accomplishments and this is going on 4 weeks. Your right it's like we are not cheering them!
