Hi

Is an alta compatable with an iPad 2?

I have installed the app but the Fitbit is not discovered on Bluetooth and won't sync.

No, the iPad has to be at least generation 3. The full list of supported devices is at

www.fitbit.com/devices

 

Perhaps your phone is on that list and you could use that instead?
