I've got all day sync activated and the app is current. If I quit the app and re-open it works for some time and then just shows resting heart rate.
It is recording heart rate as the graph over time updates. It just doesn't show current heart rate.
Any ideas?

I agree with @Midorinoji that we need @KateFitbit to tell us if the 3.26.1 update was meant to resolve the problem.

Hi everyone - 3.26.1 has been released to 10% so far, I've shared your feedback that you still do not have live heart rate. I'll let you know once I hear further, I appreciate your feedback!

Your statement below is confusing.
I have 3.26.1 downloaded but still don’t see Current Heart Rate all the time. Is this because the 3.26.1 is not updated for 90% of the users?

You have still not answered the basic questions. Have you reproduced the problem internally and did you expect this version to fix it? I fail to understand why Fitbit do not want to answer these questions.
The percentage of users on 3.26.1 has nothing to do with the question or the bug itself.

iPhone XS. 13.5.1
the current heart rate on the app has stopped working for months now. And the day I updated the Fitbit app, it worked only a couple hours hen stopped again.
as well as several times while exercising the heart rate gives dotted lines on the charge 3. And yes. I wear it tight enough. Tried both arms. You pay this money for a tracker that seems to be not very accurate or dependable.
will be spreading the word all over to go with other trackers than Fitbit if this is not resolved quickly. Glad I looked at the forum. Now I know it’s not just me and it’s Fitbits problem!!

@KateFitbit stated that 10% of the rollout was complete.
She also stated that she notified others that the issue was not fixed.
There are at least three posts - four if you count this one, that say 3.26.1 doesn't fix it.
I don't believe she was ignoring anything.

@MrMarv I agree with your summary of the current position, but I would also back some of the comments that if it would help to know if Fitbit has replicated the issue and implemented a fix or are they still working on it. We've not had anything specific that states that the issue should be fixed with 3.26.1
@KateFitbit are you able to elaborate on whether fitbit support believe it has implemented a fix in 3.26.1?
If so, are there steps we need to take to get our apps and devices working consistently?
thanks

Version 3.26.1 has downloaded and is still not showing live / current heart rate. Also have noticed that when I pull down to sync it doesn’t always try to sync i.e. the blue bar doesn’t appear and travel across the screen.
Has Fitbit been able to replicate the current heart rate fault yet? And when will they release a fixed version to the users? ??

Hi everyone.
Thanks for your continued reports and for making sure to have the Fitbit app updated. Our team is aware that the 3.26.1 version is still causing this issue with the current heart rate not being displayed and hope to have an update soon. We appreciate your patience and feedback in this situation.
If you have more questions, feel free to let me know.

I just downloaded 3.27 a few minutes ago and supposedly, this update came out a day ago. I am ecstatic that I can see my Current Heart Rate! Yippee!
It appears Fitbit has resolved the problem with this latest update, 3.27! Thanks to all Fitbit moderators (Kate for one) for persevering!
Let us hope we are done with this topic and we continue with the dashboard showing Current and Resting Heart Rates!

@Shyam @LizzyFitbit @KateFitbit -
I installed 3.27 less than 10 minutes ago and...
Not fixed.

Y'know I was going to post a skeptical reply earlier, but then I thought "hey now! maybe the update WILL fix it."
My current no-fail workaround is to exit the app (swipe it up and off) and then re-start it. Annoying, but I've gotten pretty fast at it.
In any case... Keep on steppin'!!

I've been doing the "take it out of memory" swipe then answer a pairing request for over six months now.
And yes, it only takes a few seconds - a dozen or more times a day.
But hey, I'm retired now and have plenty of free time, right?

I've also updated to 3.27.
I didn't keep a close eye on how long it took for the current heart rate to stop being displayed but it was certainly less than an hour. Up until now restarting the app allowed the heart rate to be displayed for two hours or more so it looks as if this version has made things worse 🙄

It’s me, Shyam, again.
I wrote several hours earlier before I went to bed about downloading 3.27 and hoping/thinking all was fixed.
Since then, others have voiced their concerns and I agree with them that the problem is not fixed, Resting Heart Rate shows on the dashboard. Now when You sync after the blue tooth is out and paired, you will see the Current Heart Rate for a short time before going back to Resting Heart Rate.
I am sure Lizzy/Kate from Fitbit are aware that all of us would like to see Current Heart Rate on the dashboard! So Fitbit still has work to do!
Thanks to all for their input!
Shyam

@MrMarv @Shyam @ChasBFit thanks for the alerting us to 3.27 and then letting us know it doesn't fix the issue.
@LizzyFitbit @KateFitbit I still think the best way forward is to let us know which release the team are targeting deploying a fix in so we can all avoid disappointment with checking out any intermediate releases for a fix.

The fastest way to get the heart rate back again (but only for a short period) is to log out and then log back in to your account from the app.
