My custom max heart rate is going back to zero by itself, also custom min-max.
and then turns itself off.
tried restarting phone/Fitbit, logging out and deleting the app.
it is this way on another one too.
my max heart rate showing for a second and then go back to zero.. and then turns off.
Anyone know the problem?

@Lafnesbitt Your private phone numbers are showing, you may want to edit 🙂
@Chris1323 I set my custom zone on my laptop, and I check my app daily. I've had to redo it on the desktop several times, though it's been good for at least a week. Maybe a more permanent fix has occurred.

Oh Lord! How do you turn that off or make it private?

I suspect you are replying to posts on the board via email in response to emails received from the thread and that is your custom signature line in the email application you are using.
Just blank it out before tapping "send".

Here's a work-around:
My problem is not fixed, The PC app adjustment trick doesn't work any more, but if you lie bout your age in your settings, you can get the iOS app to give you the right Maximum Heart Rate (MHR).
To calculate your Maximum Heart Rate, the Fitbit app uses the formula : 220 bpm minus your age.
This does not provide my correct MHR.
To get my MHR, I use a formula I got from Runner's World magazine: 205 minus .5X your age.
Starting with that number, work backwards from the Fitbit formula [220 - x = (My Real MHR)] where x represents the age at which Fitbit formula produces the correct MHR.
Go to your Personal settings in the app and change your birth year to one corresponding to x.
Now the Fitbit app will give you your correct MHR and the proper training zones.
That will hold you until that magical day in the future when the code writers at Fitbit fix what they broke earlier this year.

I have the same problem on my fitbit charge 2. My fitbit is no longer fit for purpose. It just not acceptable and I will need to look for a replacement product not being fitbit.

How does it take so long to restore functionality from a previous version? The lack of urgency in pushing out a fix gives the impression Fitbit doesn’t care about making us happy.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for taking the time to report this issue and keeping the Fitbit app updated in your phones. Let me share that our team is aware that the 3.26.1 version is still causing this issue with the Fitbit app reverting your custom heart rate back to zero and hope to have an update soon.
If you have more questions, don't hesitate to reply back.

The only workable fix at this stage is to change your age to trick the system. Your new age should be (220 - custom max heart rate)

Well my custom max heart rate was perfectly saved from 2017 UNTIL I made the mistake of trying to update it in the app! Then it just reset to zero BECAUSE there is no enter or save button on the iPhone keypad that pops up. Could the fix be as simple as adding the ENTER key to the keypad?

Still unable to set Maximum Heart Rate. I have just updated the app to the latest version (70.8.0). No improvement.

Hey everyone- at this stage, the issue should be resolved. If you still have the issue on 3.27 can you please supply a screenshot and details on what is happening that we can pass on to the team?
