Every times I try to set up custom BMP on either iPhone or iPad, it failed. The new device Charge 4 was bought 5 days ago and there has been no reminder to update the software.

There is a bug that does not allow for setting a custom Max HR value.
However...
You can change it in the Settings page in the Web Dashboard
Scroll down to Heart Rate Zones and expand the tile by clicking on it.
Select "Custom" under "MAX HEART RATE" and enter your new Max HR.
Save the change by clicking on "Submit" and sync your device.
You can review your new zones by clicking on the app's Heart Rate tile and then on the "gear" icon at the top right of the screen. You may, or may not see the Custom Max HR value (it is pretty much a crapshoot), but if the zone values changed, you are good to go.
Of over a dozen people that have tried that method when I recommended it on another thread, only one individual could not get it to take. And one person had to log out of the app and back in for it to take.
And you need to stay on top of it. The FitBit servers routinely reset the Custom Max HR override back to the "default" value of 220 - age.
I have documented that even changing your stride length will cause the Max HR to default back to the traditional value.
Good luck and welcome to the boards.
