Hi
i have Fitbit charge2. I am recording my bike rides on my Fitbit and at the end of the ride I can see the data there. However it is not showing anywhere on my iOS app. How do I sort this? Thanks

Hello @janeon, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply!
As I mentioned before, our team is aware of this situation ad is working towards a proper and prompt resolution. Sometimes after logging out and logging in to the Fitbit app, the exercises will show up, however, this is only a temporary workaround. Have you checked if indeed your cycling activities are being recorded on the online Dashboard? Please verify this and let me know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted.

Hello @janeon, it's nice to see you around, thanks for replying.
I'm glad your cycling activities are showing on your online Dashboard, that means your Fitbit tracker is working correctly and the data is being recorded. In this particular case I would like to ask you for a bit more of time while our team provides a solution for this issue that's preventing the exercises from showing in the app.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, feel free to reply in case you need anything else!

Why has this yet to be fix? Cycling is a basic function that should be easily fixed especially with GPS connection. I can understand steps not being counted for cycling, but you could incorporate the mileage into the dashboard to Biking. You have that data, I see if there in the exercise section but it doesn't appear on the dashboard. Why?

I just went on a bike ride and it is not showing my route and some stats on the android app. I have a fitbit versa and when I log on to the dashboard it shows my route and calories and heart rate but on the app it shows none of this and it says "Can not view when you are offline". I have restarted my phone and my fitbit versa and switched bluetooth on and off and this does not fix the problem. I am at least glad that my stats are on the dashboard but I would still like the android app to work. I am also having a problem where the app will not let me rename my workout without kicking me out the app and where it says calories burned it just shows "--".

I just realized I am having the same issue. I just got a bike and went for a 90 minute ride today (16 miles). Before I started I got on the app and set it to track my ride. When I finished it showed the stats for the bike ride, but when I look at my dashboard, it only says 27 active minutes, and 1.95 miles. My Alta did not recognize the bike ride... and apparently the app and the dashboard do not sync:(
I rebooted, reset, and did all the troubleshooting.

4 years later and this problem - which should and could be fixed so easily - still exists. Gives you a glimpse of where Fitbit’s priorities are. Shame, shame.

was there a resolution to this problem ever? I experienced it today morning. Fitbit app does not show cycling activity at all on the mobile app. Luckily I kept strava on!
