When adding a food the previously eaten section is now unreadable (looks like the font colour is the same as the background). How do you turn off dark mode in iOS without turning it off everywhere else?

It's about time. I don't understand why it took this long. Here is an example of a page that needs work.
Then again, this wouldn't happen at all if Fitbit gave us an easy way to create custom recipes.

They did say there were some elements that weren't rendering dark initially. Looks like you found one!
The Watch faces / Apps interface is also still rendering with the light/white theme.

Great news. I’ve had it in smart invert mode for months to avoid dazzling myself at night, so now having proper dark mode without all the videos being in negative colours is such a shock but a pleasant surprise!

Hey everyone, it's great to see new members around!
I truly hope you are enjoying how the app looks now. I'm personally happy to finally get the dark mode on the app. I don't need to squeeze my eyes in the mornings anymore.
Please note that we are completely aware of the behavior of the current Fitbit app version, especially its new look. We are actively working to get the app running perfectly as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, please take the next step and share your thoughts with us. Feel free to use the Product Feedback board, where all suggestions are always welcome.

I’m glad to see iOS users will get this too because I don’t have it yet. And I just read an article about it being released to android.

Hey there @vee, nice to see you around the forums!
I understand your fear of not getting the update at the same time as other users, but this is normal.
All updates are planned to slowly roll out to all users over a certain period. While it's possible that some updates arrive on one platform before another, the 4.50 update is planned for both without any difference. Just be patient while you wait for it.
You can see more about this major update here.

Now it would be great to have this Fitbit community website pick up phone settings and switch into dark mode as appropriate too.

@RaeChi This site hasn't changed since Google bought Fitbit. If you go to the Fitbit Help Center, you will see that you can put that page in dark mode. This is true for "Google" pages. Fitbit/Google conducted a user research study in June to get user feedback about improving the Community. That tells me that Google wants to do a major makeover of this site. But I agree with you. This site needs dark mode, too.
