Hi, I updated yesterday. Since then when I look at my dashboard, it no longer shows progress for past days. For example, it shows no excercise, no water intake or calories eaten. However, if I click on the tile, everything is in the details for each day. Is this an update glitch? Or do I need to change a setting? Thanks

Hello @Mamasusu13, thanks for joining us, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Community!
Currently, when you swipe the information on the app to see previous days, only the main tile (steps, calories, distance, floors and active minutes) updates. This is the normal behavior of the app. As you mentioned, when tapping on each tile underneath the main one, you'll be able to see information from previous days. This was implemented so you can check more details about each tile and compare the information between days when you tap on them.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you please feel free to reply!

The old app did this--you could swipe from day to day and see all the stats at the same time. When Fitbit updated the app, they wiped out this capability.
Now if you want to compare, say, the number of times you hit 250 steps in day with the number of calories you burned, well, you can't.
At least not from the app. You could, I suppose, click on a tile, write down the figures that you wanted on a sheet of paper or enter them in a spreadsheet, then exit that tile and go to the next thing you wanted to compare, open that, scroll back, enter those figures, then exit out, go to the next tile, and repeat it again. That's a bit too time-consuming for me.
How I wish we could get the old app back!

I agree with ground zero. It was much more functional before the update. Perhaps in the next update it should be a setting choice how to view your own dashboard! Now I have to go back to each day rather than scrolling. Oddly enough, my footsteps by day, calories, distance and minutes do scroll back through the days accurately. Why not the other tiles?

Hello @groundzero and @Mamasusu13, I hope you're doing well.
I understand your concern and I think having the option to choose between Dashboards is a terrific idea. I went ahead and found a suggested feature by @BobTheCat to implement this option in a future update. Please feel free to add your vote and comment, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from the development team.
Hope this can be helpful, keep me posted in case you need anything else!

@MarcoGFitbit, yes, I know about that thread, and I added a vote way back when it first went up. But I don't think Fitbit pays any attention to those threads. I also always mention it whenever I have to call in to support for something, and they always say they'll pass it on. But--I mean, so many users called and tweeted and posted and voted, and it just got ignored.
I imagine there is some sort of technical answer--they don't have the ability to keep this feature. I don't really understand it, since they USED to have the features that people liked, but the only reason I can think of for them saying "Wow, this is really popular and people love it and it's so useful--let's get rid of it!" is because they have some sort of technical (or financial) block. However, I think it would be more respectful of the users, then, to just say so. People would be more understanding of "We don't have the ability to keep this feature" than "We removed it for no good reason."
