Did you know Fitbit changed the dashboard look and you have to vote if you don't like it?
Please do not reply to this post - Post your dislike separately on this page. Go to community new app look and express your dislike. Once it changes you cannot change back.
My phone automatically updates, so today was the first I heard about this cause my phone did it

Hello bowlinggal,
Carolxi (Base Runner) posted a new reply in
Dashboard new app look

Fitbit doesn't cate. They've done this on purpose. They're changing to a basic dashboard so that they can lease you the "premium" apps on a monthly basis. Appke does this for $50/month. Time to change to a gamin.

I don't like the new look. It doesn't refresh right away sometimes. Sometimes it also hangs at connecting to device. I like the previous dashboard. How do we get them to change it back.

You don't, they won't. I don't know who made this decision, but they obviously didn't test with users and I don't feel that they care what we think.

New dashboard updated on its own. Hate it. My challenges all in middle of my screen too much scrolling to log food and water. Been loyal Fitbit user since 2015 please allow us to choose our dash. Will go to apple watch if stuck with a dash I hate

Thank you for your response but you missed the point. We did not choose to change. The new format happened automatically on my phone. I went to check my progress for the day, there was a slight blip and a new format showed up. Clearly this was no way that it wouldn’t download automatically so for you to see once we changed we can’t go back. I did not choose to change. Cannot your programmers put in a fix to allow us to go back?

The new look is awful and you need to take steps to change it back, promptly. You are alienating customers and your reply is not responsive to what you are being told. Telling us we cannot change back is not a satisfactory response. I don’t believe I had an option not to update, but if I did I wasn’t told that and I wasn’t told what type of change would be occurring or that it would be irreversible. You need to issue a new update to change it back as it is a step (pun intended) in the wrong direction and you will be running (also intended) into many dissatisfied customers.

So if you vote on the phone App you might get a response. I voted in the app store as 1 star for the new changes and here is what they said: (I encourage everyone to vote in the app store and give a bad review. They may want to change things for the better when they see we have a voice. I will change my vote when they fix the app.)
"Hi there, This isn't the experience we want you to have. Allow us to address your concern about the new app design. We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, which sometimes results in existing products changing. We appreciate your feedback and will do our best to make sure this product is aligned with your interests. Yes, it is. It is just a canned response but if enough people vote against the App in the App store maybe they might pay attention as the rate drops.

I absolutely hate the look of this new version for the app. The previous version was much nicer to look at and use, and we could add, delete, and move the tiles around as we wanted to. It's ridiculous that the challenges are at the top and taking up half the screen, and it's really annoying to have to scroll all the way to the end of the list to find the things I want to log -- food and water entries. The tile display was so much nicer on the previous version, and there was no need to change it. Not sure how anyone at Fitbit could consider this an improvement. Since the update, devices are having trouble syncing as well. I hope we can go back to the previous look, or at least give people an option to select which view they want. Fitbit screwed up their desktop look a while back, but at least changed that back. I hope they will do the same for this terrible update to the mobile app.

I hate the new dashboard app. I'm a avid fitbit user and now using my fourth fitbit. If there's any reason for me to go with something different, this will be it.

Agreed! The new dash is terrible. Not visually appealing at all! Fitbit needs to go back to the old look.

it seems the response for Fitbit is to shut down conversations against the changes and send us to how the new changes work. Perhaps Fitbit should listen. We looked at your link and we still hate the new changes.

Whatever the developers may believe, your community is telling you otherwise! The new dashboard has lost significant functionality, is cluttered, clunky, buggy, and hard to see. And the word from on high is, if I’m may paraphrase, “suck it up, buttercup!”
Fitbit’s “flip to subscription” is just a greedy way to try to get us to pay money to access our own data. Worse, the cavalier attitude displayed here – “oh, hang in there, you’ll get used to the changes! “– isjust plain patronizing.
I track my sleep due to a chronic pain condition, which was effortless on the old interface – but requires a trip to the web now. Who has time? A product I used to love has become difficult to use—and I have no plans to continue to use it after it is replaced..
Friends, we need to notify some folks in the tech press. This tone-deaf attitude really is unprecedented, and probably should get greater scrutiny.

Everyone is voting no but still no one at fitbit listening to us.
