Data disappeared from Fitbit account

A couple days ago I tried to track my run. But I had to completely log in to the app and was forced to restart and sink my watch as if it was new.  Now I do not have any of the exercise logs from the past two years of hard work! It’s weird cuz the sleep log is all there... and a couple of walk charts are there from almost a year ago. Ugh what the heck? Help?!

Does the iOS update have to do with this maybe? (Or lack of on my over-the-hill iPhone?)

Hi @Lizard093. Welcome! It's great to have a new member around. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I know how you're feeling about not having your old data registered in your account, let me help you with this. Before anything else, I'm wondering if you're totally sure you're not using two different accounts when trying to log into your new phone? This happened to me once when updating my iPhone, I thought I was logging in with the right account but I wasn't, I put a similar one since the only difference was a letter in between. So, I'm assuming this would be the case and everything will work since your Fitbit device is setup in your new account but your previous data will not be displayed there.

Would you mind verifying this? To do that, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Fitbit app in your iPhone and tap on your profile's icon.
  2. In the Privacy and Security section, tap Security and Login.
  3. Under "Change Email" you'll see the email that is currently linked to your Fitbit account.

Trying to verify if this is the original email you used to use with your app. If it's not, try logging out and logging back in by using the correct email. Additionally, make sure that your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.

I'll be around, let me know how it goes.
