Unable to set up my charge 2

Desperate been sitting here 2 hours and cannot get this charge 2 to set-up

What are you trying to set it up on (computer, phone ...)?

 

At which stage are you getting stuck? Any error messages?

Both, I have windows laptop and Lumia phone with windows, it appears they do not have the latest updated version on the App as the charge 2 device is not shown also tried to setup on iPad no look either, many thanks for your response

Hello @Souterpoint, welcome to the Fitbit Community! Smiley Happy

 

In this case I'd like to suggest restarting your Charge 2:

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.

After restarting, please open the Fitbit app on your iPad and try to set up your tracker once again, only this time, let the tracker plugged in and charging during the process. If that doesn't work, restart your iPad and try one more time. 

 

If the Charge 2 is still unable to set up to your account, my best recommendation would be contacting our Support Team. Let them know the steps you've performed so far, I'm positive they will be happy to assist you further.

Alta HR is plugged in and charging. You instruct to "hold the button down".

what button? Alta HR doesn't have a button that I know of.

Did all the steps.  Held the button after I got the battery but never got the Fitbit logo.  Now what?

Fitbit has replaced my Charge 2 for the third time and I still can’t get it connected to my Apple IPhone 7
