I have had FBs since first one produced, They had superb customer service, and the product only improved. After Google bought FB last fall, I have had multiple functions become unreliable or disappear entirely. I have a Charge 3, Charge 2 and Blaze, and all will record periods of sleep even when I am walking around. Recently the app no longer shows real time steps. Unless I do a manual sync close to midnight, my record will show me a few thousand steps behind my tracker. There is no longer an ability to turn on my phone light to scan Food bar codes in the dark.
I guess FB has joined the slop trough of primitive Google products. Too bad. Time to get an Apple Watch, I guess.

Regarding the issue with less steps on your dashboard than on your device, our team has recently released a new version of the Fitbit app. Please make sure you have downloaded the new version by following these instructions.
