Difficulty with scanning food

For the past few months it takes the app 10-15 minutes to load up the nutritional info when I try to scan in new food items. Why is it taking so long as it never used to be like this. Being forced to enter it manually for every new item is getting old.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I appreciate your efforts and would like to advise that our team is releasing a new version of the Fitbit app (3.43) which brings fixes to bugs and improvements. I recommend to download it once you see it available to see if that changes anything: How do I update the Fitbit app?
