Does All day sync actually do something?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

As a test, I haven't touched the Fitbit app on my iPhone 6s.  I have All Day Sync turned on.  When I go to the portal on the web, my last sync was February 17th.  What exactly does All Day Sync do 'cause it sure as hell ain't synching squat!

Thanks.

Hello @ValInKC, Its nice to see you keep visiting the Fitbit Community! In fact this option do something. The difference between "All Day-Sync" is that your tracker will maintain a constant connection with the mobile device. Also the information will automatically sync for intervals of 15 minutes or when you open the Fitbit app.

When this option is Off, you need to sync manually by pulling down with your finger the main Dashboard screen.

Now in the other hand since this is not happening in your case, it might be an interruption on the Bluetooth signal between your mobile device and your tracker. If the issue persists regularly, take a look at this post: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

See you around and hope this information helps.
