Elliptical distance tracking

When manually entering an exercise I cannot adjust the distance for the elliptical. I can for run/walk but not for the elliptical. I am going 2x the distance it is automatically giving me. That's disappointing. I have a Charge. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hello @Beancounter21, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

At this moment, it's not possible to manually add distance when logging a Treadmill activity. What I would like to suggest in this particular case is adding a Custom Activity, this will give you the chance go add a custom name, distance and calories burned. Then this activity will appear in your Recent list and you'll be able to select it and adjust it as you need.

Additionally, you can also start the Activity mode on your Charge by pressing the button for 2 seconds, before starting your Elliptical exercise, this will also add an activity to your list which you can later edit.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

@MarcoGFitbit How do I add a custom activity? I don't see that as an option. I see under food but not exercise. 😞

Hello @Beancounter21, I hope you're having a great day. Smiley Happy

In order to create a Custom Activity, please go to the Activity section of your online Dashboard and scroll all the way down. In here you'll be able to see the Log Activity section. On the right portion of it, there will be a list of your recent activities and the option to create a custom one.

CustomActivity1.PNG

Click on Create custom Activity and assign a name to it.

Then, the activity will be created and you'll be able to select the date, start time, duration, distance and calories burned.

Finally, click on Log to record the activity.

Hope this can be useful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply!
