Just joining in here to learn: I have bought second hand a fitone One to replace the one I damaged 🙂 . so I have an existing account; and have removed the old tracker. Am using the iphone app to add the newly acquired tracker, and keep getting a message: onthe iphone app
The operation couldnt be completed. (com.fitbit.HTTP error 400.)
each time Itry, and get a new code, I just keep getting this error message.
Does anyone have any suggestions? thank you! Natalee

Hello @Nataleec, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's always great to meet new members!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. at this moment I would like to suggest you the following steps that have been proven to be very helpful for many members facing the same situation:
- Log out from the Fitbit app.
- Restart your phone.
- Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal
- Log back into your account and try to set up your tracker once again:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
- Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!

unfortunately I have already:
Logged out from the Fitbit app.
Restarted phone.
Logged back into fit account and tried to set up your tracker once again:
Opened the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner
of the screen, then tapped on "Set up a New Device" I have chosen the
Tracker, followed the prompts, entered the 4 digit code that appears on my
tracker, and every time, I still CONTINUE to get the error 400 message. No
matter how many times I get a new code, or try.
- old device isnt listed in bluetooth, so I dont need to Forget or remove
it from the list.
So, Ive done all this, and it just doesnt pair to my Fitbit app on my
iphone.
I have the very very latest version of the app on my phone as well.
and on my Laptop, when opening FITBIT program /app I cant see anywhere in
all of that site, to Add a tracker, to try to add it through / by that
way.
display is all great and its looking very brandnew. I purchased from
someone who had just updated to another tracker.
Maybe the fitbit just doesnt work. Am extremely disappointed ..
but thank you for trying to think of something that might help.
Natalee

Thank you very much.
I am going to try to Drive to another place in Canberra, where perhaps I
can get better phone service on my mobile phone, and try again.
I will also dump photos off my phone, and free up more space, and try again
to connect.
thank you for all your help
Kind regards
natalee

Hello @OV1, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate your participation in the forums and for letting me know you're experiencing this issue. Would it be possible for you to let me know which troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? That will be very helpful for me to determine what should we do next. In the meantime, if you haven't tried to troubleshoot the issue, please follow these steps:
- Restart your tracker
- Try to set up your tracker again. If it doesn't work, reboot your mobile device and try again.
- Use a different mobile device or computer (if available) log into your Fitbit account and try to set up your tracker again.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Has there been any movement on this? I have the same issue.
I’ve been using my Fitbit for over a year, and suddenly stopped syncing, I tried everything in the help articles:
updating software
restarting phone
restating app
disconnecting Fitbit
the only thing I haven’t done is restart the Fitbit itself, but I can’t do that because I don’t have a charger.
At this point, I have to stop wearing it because I’ve changed time zones and it’s now showing the wrong time.
Any ideas?

Hello @therealtomrose thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board. 🙂
I appreciate you have taken the time to report this situation and let us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to go to your phone Settings > Bluetooth and remove any Fitbit device from the list of paired devices.
After that, try to set up your Fitbit device again:
- Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
- When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
- When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.
Note that if this doesn't work the first time, you will need to restart your Fitbit device, which means you will need a charging cable.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, give these steps a try and let us know the outcome.
