Exercise calorie count won't adjust when I edit my workout start or end time

I can no longer get edited calories when I manually change my workout start/end times when I forgot to stop my watch at the end of my workout. I am able to edit time with no issue, but as soon as I hit DONE, I only get a QUICK flash of the adjusted calories, then it reverts back to the original, way higher, incorrect calorie count for that session.

I have a similar issue with entering in exercise manually.
I was suspicious of the calorie count being strange, as there had been a few times when I entered my exercise, and my total daily calories burned suddenly dropped to less than what they were before I’d made the entry.

So I ran a little experiment;

Daily calories burned before walk:   1650

Three mile Run-walk for 50 min
Daily calories burned after walk:    2100

Fitbit auto entry for walk:    151

Realized Fitbit only calculated for 15 min

Adjusted time on Fitbit entry for 50 min:   435

Daily calories after adjustment.    2103

Deleted Fitbit entry, and manually entered exercise for the exact same 50 min:   375

Daily calories burned after manual entry:   2073

So, first it gives me 450 calories burned for a 50 minute run-walk, but only 15 min were counted in for 151 cal.
Then after adjusting for proper time, the app says I burned 435 cal, which is 284 more than the 151, but only adds 3 to the daily total.
When I go to the manual entry for the exact same time, it gives me 375 cal, 60 cal less than previous entry, and drops my daily burn by 27.

I feel like I’m being trolled.
