I have a new Charge 6, updated my Fitbit app for iOS, and it is still giving me 0 duration though the time entered is 5:18 to 6:08am and calories autofilled, have already restarted, updated app, restarted, deleted and re-added exercise, it just keeps counting 0 duration even though the time start and stop is correct, should show 50 minutes duration, but still shows 0. How does one burn 298 calories in 50 minutes and have 0 active minutes, 0 duration, and 0 zone minutes?

I just encountered this exact problem this morning. The worst part is that the calories I entered aren’t updated or included in my daily total. I entered my activity manually as I do every day, but now it registers as nothing. Deleted and redownloaded the app, etc, and the issue remains. First photo shows the issue vs what it looks like normally in the second.

I got my versa 4 mid February 24 as a gift. After using fitbit since 2018 I am finally giving up.
My watch tracks floors in my sleep, tracks steps while I am sitting still, and since this morning it would not log activity properly. After doing a barre cardio class this morning for 51mi it says that my exercise is 0.
I tried everything - updated the app, reconnected the watch, rebooted the phone, went online to delete the incorrect activity and it does not exist there but it still shows on my phone.
I understand that I am outside of the window to return the watch, but I would appreciate any help with the warranty since it has been only 4 months since the purchase.

I have been trying to enter this exercise for two days. Each time it doesn’t show up properly. Then I delete it and try relogging the exercise. I let it sit for fourteen hours thinking maybe it would right itself. I have cleared the cache, and fully deleted and reinstalled the app when clearing the cache did’t work. Then relogged the exercise. I tried logging again today at a different time, and still zero minutes. See below:

How it looks after logging ^
For reference, the same workout session last week logged looks like this (below) with minutes and zone minutes both displayed correctly.
please help me get my Fitbit app back to working properly.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Have already tried logging out and uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit app. I have the Luxe, for reference. This is a serious bug. I noticed it started happening yesterday (6/11), please fix, Fitbit!

For the last two days, when I manually enter an exercise with times, it’s showing duration 0 but counting the calories burned and showing the heart rate during the time spread. Any ideas?

I just experienced this today. I manually enter my activity since it always auto-recognizes the exercise incorrectly, and I get the same thing: active zone minutes, avg heart rate and calories correct, but duration shows 0. Also deleted and redownloaded the app, but the issue persists.

@kiskar I just entered a manual activity and it showed 0 min duration for me as well. Can you provide details as to what phone/OS/Fitbit app version you are using?

Since Tuesday I’ve been unable to properly log manual exercise.
Whenever I add anything (EG swimming or pilates), the exercise time immediately resets to 0 minutes and any calories/zone mins disappear after syncing or refreshing the app. I can’t edit or delete the exercise either, it just stays there at 0.
I’ve tried logging in and logging out, deleting and reinstalling the app, rebooting the device and clearing the cache and nothing is fixing the issue. I’m not sure what to do and it’s driving me crazy, I feel like fitbit is so unreliable and what’s the point in having the device if it only works sometimes. I’m not sure if it’s a bug in the new update or what. Any advice would be super appreciated! 🙂 x

Hello @veeisabella and welcome to the Community. You aren't the only user experiencing this issue. Do you use an Android or iPhone? What Fitbit app version do you have? Tap on your profile picture/gear icon > Help & Support to see your version number.
Some additional information for you. You can use the Exercise app on your Charge 5 to track both swimming and Pilates. How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device? I know that some users are skittish about swimming with their Fitbits. If you are tapping the green "+" button and manually logging Pilates, you should understand how this feature works. This feature works best if you weren't wearing your Fitbit at the time. When this feature works correctly, it overwrites that calorie burn data, if you were wearing your Fitbit at the time.

For the past couple of days every time I finish my 90 minute swim, my Fitbit registers the number of metres I swim it shows the time I started and then it shows zero for the duration. When I delete that automatic entry and enter it in manually the same thing happens. I’m swimming for 90 minutes yet it is showing zero for duration. It did not do that a week ago and it’s driving me crazy because it’s not registering my exercise correctly. Any help?

I'm having the same issue with a zero minute activity duration using the IOS app. For me the issue began on 6/11. A manually entered activity on 6/9 shows the correct duration. Also, a manually entered activity does not appear on the website dashboard or in the IOS app on a second Apple device. Manually entered weight does appear on the website dashboard and my second Apple device.

Hiya! Thank you for getting back to me.
I have an Iphone and I have the most recent app update- 4.19 41938005
It’s adding the exercise manually using the + button that is currently failing, but thank you for providing the info- hopefully they find a resolve for it soon because it’s super frustrating x

same here. when i entered a cardio kickboxing class for 50min it showed up as 0 but kept the calculated calories. then i entered a bike ride for the day before that was 40min long and 13.5miles. after i saved it, the bike ride also showed 0 min and changed the distance to 8.39miles. we all know its impossible to enter mileage at anything but the nearest tenth of a mile. it also removed the calories. when i tried to delete it and add it back, it only let me select the cardio kick boxing (my first entry), not the bike ride. when i tried to add the bike ride again it shows up as blank all together. the entire section is messed up. Before we lose ability to see the fitbit dashboard on the web browser (i.e. going away in July) maybe fitbit should make sure the app actually works properly.

Yes this is very disappointing. I am disabled and still went out to do some minor gardening for 31 minutes. When I came back in and logged it and saw it said I did a duration of zero minutes. I tried to reload the activity but it would not allow me to delete the original activity. All of the other data about the activity is correct including zone minutes and heart rates.

Here is one more pic. Hopefully, it will help in diagnosing the problem.
I could not load the picture because the app says I already loaded 20 pictures, but I only loaded 8.
Looks like another bug to address!

I have exactly the same problem - all manually added exercise is showing 0 minutes duration even though the timings are correct. Anyone heard of a fix yet?
