Fitbit Update 9/19/16
This issue where users experience a red "(not synced)" error next to their exercise logs on the iOS App has been resolved with the release of iOS App version 2.27. Click here to update your App if you haven't already.
Thanks you for everybody's patience while we worked this one out!
Fitbit Update 5/23
There is currently a bug where some iOS users see a red "(not synced)" error next to some of their exercise logs. Our team is aware and currently working on fixing this bug. Apologies for any inconvenience that this creates.
Please do not uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit App could cause data loss. If possible, I would also recommend logging activities on Fitbit.com until a fix is available.

C'mon, please fix it! It's weird because when I work out I do several different types of exercises (who doesn't?) and I log them separately. Each time only one activity will sync, the others will not. It's random. Sometimes it's the first exercise I log that will sync, other times it's the last one - there is no consistency to the glitch.

I'm having the same issue for exercises in which I GPS track with the iOS app. Coupled with the inability to edit exercise start and stop times (it's been well over a year) or make more than one change to how the exercise is categorized, I've had it. I'll be going back to Strava and a tracker from a company that's not fitbit.

Hi all. I just want to add my 2p worth. I am quite frustred with this, but at least fitbit have recognised the bug. There is nothing worse than a software company with its head in the sand saying 'what bug'. Anyway, I add the following as it may be of interest. The last 2 weekends, I have done 20 mile walks, yesterday being the latest one. My fitbit 'one' tracker recorded total steps of 36,525, 17.83 miles. However, I know that I did a 4.45 mile exercise in the morning and after work I did a straight 16.03 mile walk. The execeise information recorded both walks but annoyingly my 16.03 mile walk says 'not synced'. I appreciate I could add it manually, but that's where the problem is. In total my IOS app should confirm total distance walked 20.48 miles walked, but it shows 17.83. 😞 Also, I am motivated knowing my steps and timings as well. This exact issue happened the previous weekend when I did a similar distance.
I know its nothiong to do with connectivity as I tried every means possible. I am running 2.22.1 (495) release app. I am running this on my iPhone 6+, IOS 9.3.1.
I have updated to version 2.23 (517) and checked my exercise which still does not sync.

Derrick! Fix Fit BIT! I love the GPS tracking, I am lost without it! I like to see the split times, I assume It is still tracking.......we shouldn't have to log activities???? Whenever mine doesn't sync the gps tracking, the fit bit still tracks the exercise as steps and time, even puts it on the exercise tracking....so I assume we still are getting our steps in.......
So sad I have the "Not SYNCED" Problem................fix it! 🙂

I have done some further walks under 5 miles and they sync immediately, so I think it must have something to do with the size and quantity of data being sent back to FB that is causing the issues. Hopefully, a fix coming soon. Thanks, Colin.

Not in my case. I walked 9 holes of golf and tracked it as a hike recording 3.16 miles on my iPhones GPS. I have the map on my iPhone and it still says "(not synced) Hike"

Hi Peter. I just wanted to ask, would it help if I was able to do a wireshark and capture what's going on when I try and sync data? As this will take a bit of work, I dont want to do something that has already been done or that you think its nothing wrong with the creation of transfered data. But, in the interests of everyone, I am willing to give up some of my weekend to do packet captures and analyse what is happening. We can take this offline if you feel its more appropiate. Let me know. Thanks, Colin.
