The number of days training is displayed wrong in the iOS app (Swedish). It should read “6 av 5 dagars träning”

Hi @rocc42. It's nice to see you around.

Thanks for the information provided, as well for the screenshot! This seems to be an issue with the Fitbit app not updating your details and just to investigate, do you remember when this started to happen? Was it after updating the Fitbit app to the 3.8 version?

In the meantime, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and log back in.
  4. Check the exercise tile one more time.

Let me know how everything goes.

Hi @LizzyFitbit,
It worked the day before when it said “5 of 5 days”. I have never seen the error before. Now it shows “1 of 5” correctly. I will see what happens when I get to “6 of 5” the next time, hopefully next weekend 😉

I've had this issue for several months now, and it's always on Sundays. And if I change the phone language from Swedish to English the problem disappears.

Hi @rocc42 and @Walkman55. It's nice to see you around the Forums.

Thanks to both of you for reporting this situation. If you've not done so, please give a try to the steps posted above and keep an eye on the Fitbit app. If the issue persists, I'll need you to provide me with the model of your iOS device. Also, did this start to happen after updating the iOS version to 13? Or was it after updating the Fitbit app?

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Hi @LizzyFitbit

Now the tile shows the faulty text again, when it should have been “6 of 5”. It’s obvious to me that there is an error in the Swedish translation, probably just a small typo somewhere. That’s what my coding experience tells me 😉

Hi @rocc42. I'm glad to see you again.

Thanks for keeping me updated about the Fitbit app behavior and I'm sorry that the issue persists on the exercise tile. This is unusual and I'll make sure to share these details to our team so they can continue working on this. In the meantime, please confirm the following:

  • Have you tried the troubleshooting steps posted above?
  • May I know your iPhone's model?
  • When did this start to happen?
  • Do you recall if you had this issue after updating the Fitbit app to 3.8?

I'll look forward to your response.

Hi @LizzyFitbit. Someone posted about this issue last month so apparently it’s not a new bug. I started seeing it earlier than that and have found that the only workaround is to change the phone language to English.

BTW, I have an iPhone6 with the latest iOS (12.4.2.) and Fitbit app 3.8

Hi @LizzyFitbit,

I have tried the troubleshooting steps. My phone is an iPhone SE. I have not noticed it before last week, but I have not reached 6 of 5 that many times before this year.

The problem persisted yesterday when it was supposed to show 7 out of 5 days training.

I have the same problem on my Android phone. A Samsung S10.

If I exercise more than 5 days a week (yes it is crazy) I get the text "{0} dagars träning".

Please fix this simple bug!
